My intent is to make something of intuition. Light is the trigger, time of day, the quality of the season, the way the weather is, all contribute. I seek a moment that might be seen in any possible future: what it is to be human in this time and in this place. I stretch in that direction, pushing the photograph to do what it does best over all other arts: hold firm the illusive eternal present.
